Anti-TACC2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide spanning amino acids 237–303 of the human Transforming Acidic Coiled-Coil Containing Protein 2 (TACC2), this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot of unconjugated, antigen-affinity purified antiserum. It is formulated in 0.1 M Tris-buffered saline with 10 % glycerol (pH 7.0) and contains 0.01 % thimerosal as a preservative; the manufacturer ships the vial at 4 °C and recommends that users aliquot and store it at –20 °C, taking care to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The antibody has been validated for Western blotting and immunohistochemistry on human samples, with suggested working dilutions of 1:500–1:3000 for WB and 1:100–1:250 for IHC, including staining of paraffin-embedded tissue such as the Cal27 xenograft shown in the supplier's validation data. Reactivity is reported for human TACC2 only, and the host, clonality, and unconjugated format make it suitable for downstream detection with standard secondary reagents in Western blot and IHC workflows.
