Purified from mouse hybridoma culture and supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl liquid aliquot, this unconjugated monoclonal reagent targets the N-terminal region of TAB1 (TGF-beta-activated kinase 1-binding protein 1), an adaptor that couples TAK1 to upstream stimuli driving NF-κB and JNK/AP-1 signaling. Researchers studying innate immunity, IL-1 and TNF-α pathway activation, or stress-activated kinase cascades rely on this reagent for western blot detection of endogenous human TAB1 in cell lysates and tissue homogenates, where it produces a clean band near the expected molecular weight of the target.

The antibody is provided in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, a formulation that protects the immunoglobulin during repeated freeze-thaw handling and supports stable storage at -20 °C. As a mouse IgG host reagent with confirmed human reactivity, it is widely used in signal transduction studies that dissect TAK1 complex assembly, IRAK recruitment, and downstream IKK phosphorylation events, including work examining TAB1 expression in inflammatory disease models and cancer cell lines. Each vial is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
