Anti-TAB1 Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against TAB1, available from Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG preparation. The target corresponds to TGF-beta activated kinase 1 (MAP3K7) binding protein 1, a protein described as having low tissue specificity and a subcellular localisation at nuclear speckles, with the human gene mapped to chromosome 22. Reactivity has been validated against human and mouse samples.

The immunogen used to generate the antibody is a recombinant fusion protein encompassing amino acids 205–504 of human TAB1 (NP_006107.1). The antibody is affinity purified and supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The reported molecular weight of TAB1 is 70 kDa.

Recommended applications are Western blot, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation, with suggested dilutions of WB 1:500–1:2,000, ICC/IF 1:10–1:100, and IP 1:500–1:1,000. The product is shipped at 4°C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
