SYT4 (Synaptotagmin-4) is a calcium-independent member of the synaptotagmin family that acts as a negative regulator of synaptic vesicle release and a modulator of membrane trafficking in neurons. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and is supplied in a 100 µl vial intended for research use only. Validated applications include Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples, with reactivity verified against the human SYT4 target. The antibody binds endogenous Synaptotagmin-4 expressed in neuronal lysates and fixed brain sections, making it well suited to studies of neurotransmitter release, synaptic plasticity, axonal outgrowth, and the cellular changes associated with neurodegenerative disease.
