Anti-SYT1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody specifically targets SYT1 (Synaptotagmin-1), a synaptic vesicle protein also known by the synonyms p65, SVP65, and SytI. The reagent is supplied at a 50 µl volume at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, and is offered unconjugated to give users full flexibility over labelling and detection chemistry. It was raised in rabbit against a recombinant human SYT1 immunogen and purified by affinity chromatography, and the antibody is reported to recognise endogenous levels of total SYT1 protein. Validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, it demonstrates cross-reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting its use across the most common neuroscience and cell-biology model systems. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
