This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against alpha-synuclein phosphorylated at tyrosine 133 (phospho-Y133), a post-translational modification studied in the context of synaptic vesicle regulation and Lewy body pathology in Parkinson's disease and related synucleinopathies. The reagent is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is unconjugated to support flexible downstream labelling with user-preferred secondary reagents.

Validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), the antibody has been confirmed to react with human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling cross-species studies in cellular and animal models of neurodegeneration. As a polyclonal reagent, it recognises multiple epitopes on the phospho-Y133 form of alpha-synuclein, which is useful when probing disease-associated post-translational variants. For handling, store at -20 °C for long-term stability and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles; the inclusion of 0.05% sodium azide allows short-term refrigerated use. The product is supplied in a single-use vial format and is intended for research use only.
