Offered through the Antibodies.com catalogue, this research-grade reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a non-phosphopeptide region of human Syndecan4 surrounding the serine 179 phosphorylation site (E-G-S(p)-Y-D), enabling detection of total endogenous Syndecan4 levels across multiple model systems. The reagent is supplied as an affinity-purified IgG preparation at a working concentration of 1 mg/ml in a phosphate-buffered saline formulation (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, and it is provided unconjugated in a 50 µl volume suitable for routine Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows. Validation data on the supplier page include Western blot analysis of HepG2 cell extracts along with representative IHC and IF images. The antibody cross-reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, making it a flexible option for comparative studies in cell biology and tissue research. As an unconjugated polyclonal reagent, it is compatible with secondary antibody detection chemistries of the user's choice. For long-term integrity, the product should be stored at –20 °C, where the glycerol-containing buffer preserves activity across multiple freeze–thaw cycles. Routine applications and validated species are summarised in the table below.
