From Antibodies.com, this rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone Q21-Q) is directed against synaptophysin and supplied as an unconjugated liquid reagent with human reactivity. The clone was raised against a peptide derived from the C-terminal sequence of human synaptophysin and recognises the epitope located between Gly293 and Ser310.
The antibody is of the IgG isotype and is supplied in Tris Buffered Saline at pH 8.0, containing 20 mg/ml BSA and 0.05% sodium azide. Recommended storage is at 4°C.
Validated applications are immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded tissue (IHC-P) and on frozen sections (IHC-Fr), with a recommended IHC dilution range of 1:100–1:200. The reagent is unconjugated.
