Anti-Synapsin I (phospho-S62) Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Synapsin I phosphorylated at Serine 62 (phospho-S62). The antibody is unconjugated and presented in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, at a concentration of 1 mg/ml. It is validated for Western blot (WB) applications and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Synapsin I around the phosphorylation site of Serine 62. The manufacturer states that this p-Synapsin I (S62) pAb detects endogenous levels of Synapsin I protein when phosphorylated at Ser62. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
