This rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against the neuronal phosphoprotein Synapsin I, specifically recognizing the phosphorylated serine 62 (phospho-S62) epitope. It is supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

Validated for Western blot (WB) applications, the reagent is intended for use on lysates from human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cross-species investigations of synaptic vesicle regulation and neurotransmitter release in neuroscience workflows. The phospho-S62 site is targeted by activity-dependent kinases, making this reagent useful for studies of synaptic plasticity, neuronal signaling cascades, and phosphorylation-state analysis in cultured neurons, brain tissue, and derived cell models.

Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody. For short-term use, store at 4 °C; for longer storage, aliquot and freeze to preserve activity, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Handle with the standard sodium azide precautions appropriate for a PBS-buffered reagent.
