SUZ12 (Suppressor of Zeste 12) is a core subunit of the Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 (PRC2), which catalyzes trimethylation of histone H3 at lysine 27 (H3K27me3) to mediate transcriptional silencing during development and in cancer.
