The Suz12 protein is a core scaffolding subunit of the Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 (PRC2), the chromatin-modifying complex responsible for trimethylating histone H3 at lysine 27 (H3K27me3) to silence developmental and tumor-suppressor genes. This rabbit polyclonal anti-Suz12 antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com in a 100 µl unconjugated format, is raised against Suz12 and validated for Western blot detection of the endogenous protein in human and mouse samples.

As an IgG polyclonal reagent produced in rabbit, the antibody recognizes multiple epitopes on Suz12, supporting clear detection of the approximately 83 kDa target across cell lysates and tissue extracts. Investigators studying polycomb-mediated epigenetic regulation, embryonic stem cell pluripotency, X-inactivation, cancer epigenetics, and histone methylation dynamics use Suz12 antibodies to confirm PRC2 complex integrity and to monitor changes in PRC2 subunit expression during differentiation or oncogenic transformation.

The unconjugated IgG format allows flexible downstream use, including pairing with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies for chemiluminescent Western blot or immunofluorescence workflows. Store refrigerated at 2-8 degrees C in working aliquots to preserve activity, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the stock. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
