The Anti-Sup35 Antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent raised against the Saccharomyces cerevisiae Sup35 translation termination factor. Sup35 (also known as eRF3) is a GTP-binding release factor that, together with eRF1 (Sup45), recognizes stop codons during translation, and it is the structural protein of the [PSI+] prion in yeast, making this reagent widely used in prion biology, translation termination, and protein aggregation studies. Supplied as a liquid in a 100 ul vial, the unconjugated antibody is validated for western blot detection of endogenous Sup35 from yeast lysates. For best results, store aliquots at -20 degrees C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles; the reagent is intended for research use only.
