Anti-SUMO2 + SUMO3 Antibody [3H12]

Rat monoclonal antibody clone 3H12, supplied by Antibodies.com, recognizes the small ubiquitin-like modifiers SUMO2 and SUMO3. These ~12 kDa proteins are covalently attached to lysine residues on substrate targets in a process termed SUMOylation, which regulates DNA repair, transcription, and the cellular response to proteotoxic stress. The antibody reliably detects both free SUMO2/3 and high-molecular-weight SUMO-conjugated species in cell lysates.

Provided as 100 µg of liquid formulation in a vial, suitable for western blotting, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry on frozen sections, and ELISA. The reagent has been validated across human, monkey, mouse, hamster, and rat samples, making it useful for comparative studies in cell lines and primary tissue. For best results, store aliquots at -20°C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
