This polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against sulfotransferase family cytosolic member 1A3 (SULT1A3), a phase II conjugation enzyme that sulfonates phenolic compounds, catecholamines, and a broad range of xenobiotic substrates. The unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot and is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous SULT1A3 in human, mouse, and rat samples. Because SULT1A3 contributes to dopamine and serotonin metabolism and to detoxification of dietary phenols and pharmacological agents, the antibody supports studies in neurochemistry, hepatic drug clearance, and toxicology research.

For best results, aliquot upon first use and store refrigerated at 4°C; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity. Briefly centrifuge the vial before opening to recover the full volume, then dilute in an appropriate blocking buffer for immunoblotting. Researchers investigating cytosolic sulfotransferase activity, polymorphic variation in sulfonation capacity, or cross-species comparisons of xenobiotic metabolism will find this polyclonal reagent a reliable tool for protein-level confirmation of expression changes.
