Sulfotransferase family 1A member 3 (SULT1A3) is a cytosolic phase II enzyme that catalyzes sulfuryl group transfer from 3'-phosphoadenosine-5'-phosphosulfate (PAPS) onto phenolic substrates, including dopamine, norepinephrine, and dietary xenobiotics. The unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent offered by Antibodies.com enables Western blot detection of endogenous SULT1A3 in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting studies of neurotransmitter clearance, drug metabolism, and tissue-specific sulfation activity.
Supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal serum in a single-use vial, the antibody supports chemiluminescent and colorimetric Western blot workflows across hepatic, intestinal, and neuronal lysates. Host species is rabbit, isotype IgG, clonality polyclonal, and the reagent is intended for research use only, allowing flexible secondary antibody selection and clean signal development in expression profiling, isoform comparison, and conjugation pathway experiments.
