This rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com targets SUGP1 (SURP and G-patch domain-containing protein 1), a nuclear factor implicated in pre-mRNA spliceosome assembly and RNA processing. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as 200 µl of ready-to-use liquid in a single vial and is validated for western blot detection of the endogenous human protein.
Produced by immunization of rabbits with recombinant SUGP1 immunogen, the polyclonal preparation offers multi-epitope recognition of the target. SUGP1 contains characteristic SURP and G-patch domains that mediate protein-protein interactions within the spliceosome, and the reagent is useful for studying splicing factor composition and RNA maturation pathways in human cell systems.
Recommended applications include western blot on whole-cell lysates and nuclear extracts prepared from human cell lines. The product is provided as a liquid in a vial suitable for immediate dilution into blocking buffer, and the host species is rabbit with an IgG isotype. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
