Succinate-CoA ligase (GDP-forming) subunit beta, encoded by the SUCLG2 gene, is a mitochondrial matrix enzyme that participates in the citric acid cycle by catalyzing the reversible conversion of succinyl-CoA to succinate with substrate-level phosphorylation of GDP. This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated reagent in a 100 µl volume, intended for western blot and immunofluorescence workflows against human samples. SUCLG2 dysfunction has been implicated in mitochondrial DNA depletion syndromes, making the target relevant for research into oxidative phosphorylation coupling and metabolic disease. The antibody reacts specifically with the human antigen, enabling detection of endogenous protein levels in cell lysates and fixed cell preparations, and is offered as part of the Antibodies.com primary antibody portfolio for research use only.
