Raised in rabbit against the human SUCLG1 target, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl vial that supports western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows.
SUCLG1 encodes the alpha subunit of succinate-CoA ligase, a mitochondrial matrix enzyme participating in the TCA cycle by catalyzing the reversible conversion of succinyl-CoA to succinate coupled with substrate-level phosphorylation. Researchers investigating mitochondrial metabolism, ATP production, or disorders linked to succinyl-CoA metabolism rely on this reagent to detect endogenous SUCLG1 in human tissue and cell samples.
As a primary antibody, it can be paired with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary reagents for signal development, and the unconjugated format offers flexibility for matching diverse detection chemistries. Storage at -20°C in aliquots is recommended to preserve activity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
