Raised in rabbit against the SUB1 transcription coactivator (also known as PC4, positive cofactor 4), this polyclonal reagent recognizes the single-stranded DNA binding factor that supports RNA polymerase II-driven transcription and participates in chromatin remodeling and DNA repair. These properties make the antibody useful for studies of transcriptional regulation, nuclear signaling, and genome maintenance in eukaryotic cells.
This Antibodies.com reagent is validated for western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, allowing the vial to be stored at -20°C and diluted directly into standard blocking and staining protocols. Because the antibody cross-reacts with both human and mouse SUB1, it is a practical choice for comparative work between patient-derived samples and rodent model systems, including matched tumor and normal tissue panels.
