Anti-STX12 Antibody

A polyclonal, unconjugated antibody raised in rabbit against Syntaxin 12 (also referred to as Syntaxin-13), available from Antibodies.com. The host species is rabbit, with polyclonal clonality and an IgG isotype. It is validated for use in Western blot and immunofluorescence applications [C0, S1].

The reagent reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing amino acids 2–159 of human STX12 (NP_803173.1), and the antibody is prepared by affinity purification. It is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal. The target protein has a molecular weight of 31 kDa [S1].

Shipping is at 4°C; upon arrival, aliquoting and storage at –20°C is recommended, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. The recommended Western blot dilution range is 1:500–1:2,000 [S1].
