Anti-STRAP Antibody

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets STRAP, a WD40-repeat protein best known for binding the type I TGF-β receptor and modulating SMAD-dependent signal transduction. STRAP (also called UNRIP) participates in pre-mRNA splicing through its association with the survival motor neuron complex, and it has been studied as a context-dependent regulator of proliferation, apoptosis, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition. Researchers use this reagent to probe endogenous STRAP levels in cell lysates by WB at the expected ~38 kDa band and to map STRAP distribution in fixed tissue sections by IHC.
