This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is a rabbit host primary antibody raised against STRADB (STE20-related kinase adaptor beta), a pseudokinase scaffold that assembles with STRADA and MO25 to activate LKB1 signaling within the AMPK cascade. It is supplied as 100 µl of liquid stock and validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human and mouse samples.

STRADB is of strong interest in neurobiology because biallelic loss of STRADA in the same complex causes PMSE syndrome (polyhydramnios, megalencephaly, and symptomatic epilepsy), and STRADB itself is implicated as a modifier of ALS2-linked motor neuron disease. Labs using this antibody typically interrogate brain and spinal cord tissue as well as HEK293, HeLa, and SH-SY5Y cell lines to map subcellular distribution, monitor LKB1 pathway activation, and characterize pseudokinase scaffolding behavior in vitro.

The unconjugated format gives flexibility for downstream labeling with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore-conjugated anti-rabbit secondary reagents. For handling, refrigerate short term, aliquot upon first thaw to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light once a fluorophore is conjugated. Each vial of the polyclonal preparation is intended for research use only.
