Raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminal region of human serine/threonine kinase 33 near residue 108, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 1 mg/ml stock in phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. STK33 belongs to the calcium/calmodulin-dependent kinase-related group and has attracted attention in cancer cell biology, particularly in studies of kinase dependencies in KRAS-mutant tumor models and in signaling pathway work on prostate and lung cancer lines.

Each vial provides 100 µl of antibody validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples. The unconjugated format lets investigators couple the antibody to HRP, biotin, or fluorophore reporters of their choice. Stock should be kept refrigerated and protected from light, with working aliquots prepared to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles. For immunohistochemistry, antigen retrieval in citrate buffer at pH 6 is commonly used prior to overnight incubation with the primary antibody.

Because this reagent is polyclonal, multiple epitopes on the STK33 protein are recognized simultaneously, which helps when probing lower-abundance targets or capturing multiple isoforms in cell lysates and tissue extracts. The product is intended for research use only. Studies mapping STK33 expression following siRNA knockdown or small-molecule inhibitor treatment in human cancer cell lines have used similar N-terminal polyclonal reagents to follow protein-level changes by Western blot. Researchers working on synthetic lethality screens, kinase substrate relationships, or expression profiling of STK33 in tumor versus normal tissue will find this antibody compatible with standard chromogenic and fluorescence detection workflows.
