Raised in rabbit against the endogenous serine/threonine kinase 32A, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot for Western blot detection of STK32A in human, mouse, and rat samples.

STK32A (also called YANK1) is a member of a small AGC-related subfamily of kinases, alongside the paralogs STK32B/YANK2 and STK32C/YANK3, classified among the "dark kinases" whose substrates have only recently begun to be characterized. Recent work has linked STK32A to planar cell polarity in vestibular hair cells of the mouse inner ear, where it acts downstream of the transcription factor EMX2 and shapes the apical localization of GPR156. The Human Protein Atlas reports that STK32A localizes to the centrosome and shows enhanced RNA expression in brain regions such as the median raphe nucleus, as well as in adrenal gland and thyroid tissue, making this reagent useful for probing neuronal and endocrine signaling, alongside kinase expression patterns in cell lysates and tissue homogenates.

The affinity-purified antibody is provided in a ready-to-use formulation compatible with PVDF or nitrocellulose transfer and standard chemiluminescent readout, paired with HRP-conjugated secondary reagents. Aliquot upon arrival and store at -20°C to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity through extended use. This product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
