Anti-STK32A Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com as a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against the serine/threonine kinase 32A (STK32A) target, this unconjugated IgG primary antibody is supplied as a 200 µl liquid aliquot and is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous STK32A in human, mouse, and rat samples. STK32A, also known by the gene alias YANK1 (Yet another novel kinase 1), is a 396 amino acid catalytic protein encoded at chromosomal locus 5q32; it belongs to the YANK family of kinases (EC 2.7.11.1) and is reported to act as a planar cell polarity factor in inner ear hair cells, where it antagonizes EMX2 and contributes to apical localization of the GPR156 receptor.

The reagent is affinity-purified, unconjugated, and supplied in a vial that should be stored refrigerated; for longer term storage, freeze at -20 °C in single-use working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light once conjugated to a detection reporter. Because the antibody is unconjugated, it can be paired with HRP, fluorophore, or biotin secondary reagents to suit a given Western blot workflow.
