Target STK3 (also known as MST2), a core serine/threonine kinase of the Hippo tumor-suppressor pathway, with this rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com. STK3 is activated by autophosphorylation and caspase-mediated cleavage, propagating signals through LATS1/2 to regulate YAP/TAZ, apoptosis, and cellular stress responses. Researchers mapping Hippo pathway activity, contact inhibition, or apoptotic signaling in cancer models rely on STK3 detection to probe upstream and downstream events.

The reagent is raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal antibody at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, pH approximately 7.2, with a 100 µl vial size. Validated for western blot (WB), it recognizes endogenous STK3 in human, mouse, and rat samples. Affinity purification reduces off-target binding, and the unconjugated format allows pairing with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-conjugated secondary reagents.

Common uses include western blot analysis of full-length and cleaved STK3 fragments generated during apoptosis, co-immunoprecipitation of STK3-containing kinase complexes with SAV1, MOB1, and LATS1/2, and tracking activation-loop autophosphorylation in response to oxidative or genotoxic stress. For downstream assays, remove the sodium azide before live-cell work or amine-reactive labeling.
