STK10, also known as LOK (Lymphocyte-Oriented Kinase), is a serine/threonine kinase of the STE20 family that governs lymphocyte polarization, integrin signaling, and cytoskeletal remodeling. This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples. Researchers receive 100 µl of unconjugated IgG, giving flexibility to pair the reagent with their preferred HRP-, biotin-, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibody for chromogenic or fluorescence-based detection. STK10 is most heavily expressed in hematopoietic tissues and is best known for phosphorylating ERM (ezrin/radixin/moesin) proteins, a modification that links actin dynamics to T-cell receptor signaling and immune synapse formation. The kinase also sits upstream of pro-apoptotic signaling through phosphorylation of PDCD10, giving it relevance to studies of lymphocyte apoptosis and survival. The unconjugated format is well suited to immunoblotting of cell lysates and to staining of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, where anti-rabbit secondaries are widely available. For research use only, this reagent supports investigation of kinase-substrate relationships, immune cell activation cascades, and cytoskeletal regulation in human disease models including lymphoma and other hematologic contexts.
