Anti-Stefin B Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets endogenous Stefin B (cystatin B / CSTB) and is supplied as a 50 µL aliquot at 1.0 mg/mL in PBS (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The unconjugated antibody is of the IgG class and was generated against a synthetic peptide derived from human Stefin B, enabling recognition of total Stefin B protein across human, mouse and rat samples. It is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), making it suitable for labelling the cytoplasmic cysteine protease inhibitor in tissue sections and cultured cells. For handling, the product is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Research-use only.
