Stathmin1 (STMN1) is a 149-amino acid cytoplasmic phosphoprotein best known for destabilizing microtubules and regulating mitotic spindle assembly. It carries four serine phosphorylation sites within its N-terminal domain that integrate cell cycle and stress signaling. Antibodies.com offers this Anti-Stathmin1 (Ab-38) reagent as a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against an epitope mapping near residue 38 of the human protein, supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated serum in a single vial, validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence in Human and Rat samples. The reagent is widely used in studies of tumor cell proliferation, cytoskeletal dynamics, and neuronal differentiation, and is frequently cited in cancer biomarker research because STMN1 is overexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma, breast cancer, acute myeloid leukemia, and several other malignancies. The unconjugated format permits flexible coupling to HRP, biotin, or fluorophores depending on the chosen assay, and aliquoting into working volumes before storage at -20°C preserves antibody activity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
