An unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com detects the Stathmin1 cytosolic phosphoprotein, a 149-residue regulator of microtubule dynamics that is most abundant in proliferating and tumor cells and in the developing nervous system. The liquid antibody is supplied at 100 µl per vial, validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human, mouse, and rat specimens, making it a practical tool for studies of mitotic progression, neuronal differentiation, and aberrant microtubule regulation in cancer research. Stathmin1 phosphorylation at four serine residues gates its tubulin-binding activity, which is why immunoblot and immunostaining readouts are widely used to track cell-cycle state. To preserve activity, aliquot the contents of each vial upon arrival, refrigerate at 4°C for short-term use, and freeze at -20°C for long-term storage while avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The reagent is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic procedures.
