Anti-STAT4 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting DRAM1 (DNA damage regulated autophagy modulator 1), offered under the Primary Antibodies category by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent. The antibody is of the IgG isotype, raised in rabbit, and purified by affinity purification. According to supporting manufacturer datasheets, it is validated for Western blot (WB) at 1:200 - 1:2000 dilution and for ELISA with a recommended starting concentration of 1 μg/mL. Cross-reactivity is reported for mouse.

The observed molecular weight is 26kDa, and the calculated molecular weight is 26kDa (one source also lists 13kDa). The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 100-200 of human DRAM1 (NP_060840.2). The associated gene ID is 55332 and Swiss Prot accession is Q8N682. In reported Western blot validation, lysates were loaded at 25 μg per lane, with detection by ECL at an exposure time of 15 seconds.

DRAM1 is regulated as part of the p53 tumor suppressor pathway and encodes a lysosomal membrane protein required for the induction of autophagy; decreased transcriptional expression of this gene has been associated with various tumors. The product should be stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles, in PBS buffer with 50% glycerol at pH 7.3 (one datasheet specifies 0.02% sodium azide; others specify 0.01% thimerosal).
