Anti-Stat3 (phospho-Y705) Antibody

A polyclonal antibody raised in Rabbit against the Stat3 target, offered by Antibodies.com. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2, and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen to a purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Stat3 around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 705. According to the manufacturer's specificity statement, the antibody detects endogenous levels of Stat3 protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr705, with an observed molecular weight of approximately 88 kDa. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunoprecipitation (IP), and shows reactivity with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
