Anti-Stat3 (phospho-Y705) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, targets Stat3 phosphorylated at Tyrosine 705 and is validated for Western blot applications. It reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and is provided in unconjugated form.

The antibody was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Stat3 around the Tyr705 phosphorylation site. Its specificity is defined by detection of endogenous Stat3 protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr705. The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2, and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen.

The reported molecular weight is ~88 kDa, and the purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
