Anti-Stat3 (phospho-S727) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, is raised against Stat3 when phosphorylated at Serine 727. It is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunoprecipitation (IP). The reagent reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, with three scientific images supporting these applications.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Stat3 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 727, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of Stat3 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser727. The target has a molecular weight of approximately 88 kDa.

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, achieving a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. It is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
