Anti-STAT3 (Ab-727) Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) protein and specifically recognizes an epitope spanning amino acids 725–729 (P-M-S-P-R) of human STAT3. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 50 µL aliquot at approximately 1.0 mg/mL in PBS (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is of the IgG isotype. It is intended for use in Western blot (recommended 1:500–1:1000) and immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections (recommended 1:50–1:200), and shows reactivity with human samples, with a predicted molecular weight of around 88 kDa. For long-term preservation, store the antibody at −20 °C; for short-term use, keep it at 4 °C. Quality control is supported by affinity chromatography on epitope-specific peptide, and the reagent is for research use only.
