This mouse monoclonal IgG antibody targets STAT1 (Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 1), a 91 kDa latent cytoplasmic transcription factor that becomes activated through tyrosine phosphorylation downstream of interferon-alpha, interferon-gamma, and other cytokine signals. From Antibodies.com as clone A10100, the reagent is supplied as a 200 µl unconjugated vial validated for Western blot and immunoprecipitation on human and monkey samples, supporting research into JAK/STAT signaling, antiviral defense pathways, and transcription factor biology.

The unconjugated format leaves label choice to the researcher, so the antibody can be paired with anti-mouse HRP, fluorophore-conjugated, or biotinylated secondary reagents. Use it for immunoblotting total STAT1 expression, for immunoprecipitating native STAT1 complexes from cell lysates prepared in vitro from cultured human or non-human primate cells, and for downstream analysis of STAT1 phosphorylation status under cytokine stimulation. Storage refrigerated in the supplied vial is recommended; aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from prolonged light exposure to preserve antibody activity over its shelf life.
