Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the signal transducer and activator of transcription 1 protein and is supplied at the 50 µl size in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. The unconjugated antibody is provided at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL and is generated by immunising rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 725–729 (P-M-S-P-E) of human STAT1, followed by epitope-specific affinity chromatography purification. Researchers can deploy it in Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, and the reagent has been validated for the detection of endogenous total STAT1 in both human and mouse samples.
