Anti-STARD8 Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets STARD8 (also known as DLC3), a RhoGAP-family protein implicated in cytoskeletal remodeling, cell migration, and tumor-suppressor signaling. Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation, the antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on human samples and is shipped as a 100 µl vial suitable for direct dilution into standard blocking and incubation buffers.

STARD8 carries both a RhoGAP catalytic domain and a StAR-related lipid transfer (START) domain, making it a useful marker for studies of Rho GTPase signaling, membrane dynamics, and downstream effectors such as RhoA. Researchers investigating hepatocellular carcinoma, breast cancer, and other contexts where DLC3 expression has been linked to proliferation and metastatic behavior can use this reagent to detect endogenous protein levels in cell lysates and formalin-fixed tissue sections.
