Anti-STAR Antibody

Offered through the Antibodies.com catalogue, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the steroidogenic acute regulatory protein (STAR) and is supplied in a 100 µl aliquot at a working concentration of 2 mg/mL. The antibody was raised against a fusion protein derived from the human STAR sequence and is purified by antigen affinity chromatography to maximize specificity for endogenous STAR. It is formulated in pH 7.4 PBS containing 0.05% sodium azide and 40% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, and is supplied as an unconjugated Rabbit IgG preparation suitable for direct labelling in user-developed assays. Validation has been carried out for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on human samples, making it a practical choice for studies of steroidogenic tissues and related cell models. The conjugate-free format provides flexibility for researchers who wish to couple the antibody to their preferred fluorophore, enzyme, or biotin reporter.
