Anti-STAR Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against a recombinant human STAR (Steroidogenic Acute Regulatory protein, also known as START domain-containing protein 1, mitochondrial) immunogen and is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume. The unconjugated antibody detects endogenous levels of total STAR protein and has been validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on samples of human and mouse origin. The formulation is a phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, with no magnesium or calcium added. Vials are shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C upon arrival, taking care to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Purification is carried out by antigen-affinity chromatography using the immunogen, and the antiserum is supplied as a polyclonal reagent in unconjugated form.
