Anti-STAR Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against STAR, offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody. The unconjugated IgG reagent is produced in rabbit and is validated for Western blot (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunoprecipitation (IP) applications, reacting with human and mouse samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 64–285 of human StAR (NP_000340.2). The target has a reported molecular weight of 28 kDa. The antibody is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, and is purified by affinity chromatography. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:100–1:500 for WB and 1:500–1:1,000 for IP.

Storage instructions are shipment at 4°C, followed by aliquoting and storage at –20°C, with avoidance of repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
