Staphylococcal Enterotoxin B is a heat-stable exotoxin and superantigen produced by Staphylococcus aureus, recognized as a leading cause of foodborne intoxication and listed as a category B select agent. The Antibodies.com monoclonal reagent to this toxin is supplied as a 100 µg lyophilised preparation of a mouse IgG1 antibody, unconjugated for flexible integration into ELISA workflows for toxin detection in culture supernatants, food extracts, or clinical matrices.

Raised in mouse hybridoma cells and purified as an unconjugated IgG1, the antibody is intended for antigen capture and competitive ELISA assay design. Reconstitution into a sterile buffer is performed before dilution into working aliquots, and the lyophilised format supports refrigerated storage with extended shelf life until first use.

Binding specificity for the enterotoxin B isoform makes this reagent useful for toxinotyping studies, outbreak investigation support, food safety screening, and biodefense assay development. The unconjugated mouse IgG1 format can also be incorporated into research workflows beyond ELISA, depending on the user's labelled secondary antibody system.
