Anti-STAMBP Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets STAMBP (STAM-binding protein), a metalloprotease also known as AMSH that operates within the endosomal sorting and ESCRT machinery. STAMBP cleaves ubiquitin chains from membrane-associated cargo, shaping receptor trafficking and signal termination downstream of activated cytokine receptors. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as a 100 µl vial at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, and should be stored at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles.

Raised in rabbit and validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence applications, the reagent detects human, mouse, and rat STAMBP. The polyclonal format is helpful when probing epitopes that may be conformationally masked, or when broader recognition of STAMBP isoforms is desired. Brief centrifugation of the vial before opening recovers liquid caught in the cap, and dilution into a standard antibody buffer is recommended for working stocks.
