Anti-ST6GAL1 Antibody

Sourced through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is raised in rabbit and selectively recognizes the ST6GAL1 (beta-galactoside alpha-2,6-sialyltransferase 1) target. The polyclonal antiserum is generated against a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human ST6GAL1 and is subsequently purified by affinity chromatography on an epitope-specific immunogen, yielding an unconjugated IgG preparation supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺, pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The antibody is intended for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows and has been validated for reactivity against both human and mouse samples, making it suitable for comparative studies across species. Each vial contains 50 µL of the antibody, which is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon receipt and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles minimized to preserve performance.
