Anti-SSTR2 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com targets Somatostatin Receptor 2 (SSTR2) and is validated for Western Blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. The unconjugated antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species research.

The reagent was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 302–369 of human Somatostatin Receptor 2 (NP_001041.1) and was purified by affinity chromatography. It has a predicted molecular weight of 87 kDa and is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% Glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300. The product is accompanied by 3 scientific images.

For Western Blotting, a working dilution of 1:500–1:1,000 is recommended, and Immunohistochemistry is best performed at 1:50–1:100. The antibody is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery, it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
