Anti-SST Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets Somatostatin (SST) and is supplied unconjugated as a liquid preparation for western blotting, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence workflows. It is of the IgG isotype and has been validated to react with human, mouse and rat samples.

The antibody was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 23–116 of human SST (NP_001039.1). The corresponding immunogen sequence is TGAPSDPRLRQFLQKSLAAAAGKQELAKYFLAELLSEPNQTENDALEPEDLSQAAEQDEMRLELQRSANSNPAMAPRERKAGCKNFFWKTFTSC, and the target protein has a molecular weight of 13 kDa. It is affinity purified and provided in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300; concentration is lot specific.

Recommended starting dilutions are WB 1:500–1:1,000, IHC 1:50–1:200 and ICC/IF 1:50–1:200. The product ships at 4°C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
