SSSCA1, originally identified as a shared autoantigen in patients with Sjögren's syndrome and systemic scleroderma, is a nuclear protein frequently used as a marker in autoimmune disease research and studies of nuclear organization. This unconjugated polyclonal antibody, raised in rabbit, recognizes the mouse SSSCA1 protein and is validated for Western blot detection. Distributed by Antibodies.com and supplied as 100 µl of IgG in a vial format, the reagent is intended for research use only and supports investigations into centromere-associated antigens and the autoantibody profiles characteristic of connective tissue disorders. Researchers working on autoimmune diagnostics, scleroderma pathogenesis, or comparative rodent models of Sjögren's syndrome can use this reagent to confirm protein expression in mouse tissue lysates and cell extracts by immunoblotting.
