Anti-SSB Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets the SSB protein and is offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent. It is an unconjugated IgG raised in rabbit, validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation, with reactivity confirmed against human samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 166-408 of human SSB (NP_003133.1). The product is supplied as a liquid in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and is affinity purified. The reported molecular weight of the target is 47 kDa, and the concentration is lot specific.

Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500-1:1,000 for Western blot, 1:100-1:500 for immunohistochemistry, 1:50-1:200 for ICC/IF, and 1:500-1:1,000 for immunoprecipitation. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
