This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes an N-terminal epitope on SRSF7 (around residue 103), a member of the SR-rich family of pre-mRNA splicing factors. Raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, the antibody is delivered as 50 µl per vial for direct dilution into standard blocking or incubation buffers.

Validated for reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples, the reagent supports western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows in common model systems. SRSF7, also known as SRp20 or 9G8, contributes to exon definition, alternative splicing decisions, mRNA nuclear export, and translation control, so the antibody is a useful tool for studies of spliceosome assembly, cancer-associated splicing dysregulation, stress granule formation, and post-transcriptional gene regulation. The polyclonal format provides multiple epitope recognition for robust signal generation across blotting and tissue-staining applications.

For storage, keep the vial refrigerated and protect from light; prepare small aliquots to minimize freeze-thaw cycles of the active immunoglobulin. The unconjugated preparation allows pairing with a wide selection of secondary antibodies for fluorescence, chromogenic, or alkaline phosphatase detection, providing flexibility across imaging and blotting platforms. The product is supplied as a single-use vial from Antibodies.com.
